For this card I went back to the Big Shot and the embossing folders, this time choosing a floral pattern.  I also highlighted the embossing by brushing my sponge (in Summer Sun ink) along the raised portions of the design to help them stand out more.

I went back to the original mat of Basic Black, then Regal Rose.  I also stamped the inside of each of my cards (but I forgot to take a picture for you to see that).  I did stamp the envelopes and color them with my blender pen - you can see the envelope for this card peeking out to the left.  Additionally, I sponged the edges of my card with Regal Rose ink.

For this card, I embossed the background using my Big Shot and the dots embossing folder.  Because the background was dry embossed, I couldn't stamp my greeting directly on the background, so I stamped on a window sheet using black StazOn ink.  I attached the window sheet using pink brads.

For this OSW, I only matted it with Basic Black (leaving off the Regal Rose).  I really like the embossed background with the greeting floating on top.

I know it has been quite some time, but I wanted to share a card (3 actually) that I made for the Moms in my life.

I started with a modified One Sheet Wonder (OSW).  By modified, I only used part of a sheet of card stock, not a full 8.5" x 11" sheet.  I used the Versamark resist technique, where I stamped my images on the glossy white card stock with Versamark ink.  Then I sponged over the images with Summer Sun and Regal Rose ink.  Once that was dry, I stamped with StazOn black to pop the images.  I really like how these turned out and I hope my moms do to!

I cut apart my OSW and then matted this one with Basic Black and Regal Rose.  This went on my Whisper White card, which I stamped the greeting in Basic Black.  I also added a heart eyelet in the left corner and spritzed the front with Regal Rose marker and Color Spritzer.

Here is another card I made using the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set (this was based on a class I taught last year).  I love how the rose is just barely colored with the Baja Breeze.

And don't you just love those corduroy buttons?!  This card is destined for another special person.  Hopefully she will like it.  What do you think?

I love the Icicle Rub-ons!  Have you tried them yet?  They rock!  They are so easy to use and make great accents or focal points for all of your paper crafting projects.  Check out this card I made that uses one of the snowflakes as the main focus for this non-traditional Christmas card:

I used Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White to create this layered look.  I cut the cardstock to fit the snowflake rub-on image and then layered out from there.  I also sponged the edges of the card stock to help tie everything together.  This card is so easy to make that you'll want to make a bunch of them (good thing you have both white and silver rub-ons in the pack!).

Of course I had to use the coordinating Serene Snowflakes to stamp the envelope in Tempting Turquoise.  Don't you love getting a hand stamped card - and envelope - in the mail?

I love the color combination here.  It feels so rich.  And that strip of Crushed Curry along the
right side just seems to pop everything off the page.   I normally don’t take the time to cut out
elements, but these leaves just called for it, and it really didn’t take that
much extra time.

I also lined the inside of the card with Whisper White card
stock and stamped a couple of leaf images in opposite corners with Crushed
Curry ink.  And not too long after I
finished this card, my daughter grabbed it and sent it to one of her friends!
LOL.  So I guess I didn’t do too badly.   What do you think?

She used the Delightful Decorations and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets and the ornament punch.  This card would be very easy to mass produce for your holiday greetings.

Not familiar with One Sheet Wonder (OSW)? It's where you stamp an entire sheet of card stock (in my case this was a half sheet - 5.5" x 8.5") in a collage type pattern, then you cut it up and use it on cards, scrapbook pages and other paper crafting projects. It always amazes me how many cards you can make from just one sheet of stamped paper.

Here is one of the first cards I made after stamping and cutting my OSW piece apart:

To create my OSW piece, I stamped with Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Dusty Durange and Rich Razzleberry. I also sponged some of those same ink colors on my stamped background to blend the colors.

For this card, I cut a piece of my OSW into a 3x3" piece. I matted that at an angle with a 3.25" x 3.25" piece of Old Olive card stock and placed that on my Crushed Curry card. I tied on a piece of Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon, but I tied it so you couldn't see the polka dots (2 ribbons for the price of 1 – yea!). I then stamped a leaf with Crushed Curry on Whisper White card stock and stamped the Thanks image with Rich Razzleberry. I punched this with the small tag punch and punched a coordinating tag from Rich Razzleberry and attached them to the ribbon with gold cord. Fun, quick and easy! What do you think?
